Well, over the weekend we had some snow, some sleet, and even some rain in New Jersey on Saturday.

Sunday was in the upper 30s and low 40s.  That's way below the normal high in the low 50s, where we should be for this time of year.

Today will be overcast with probably some snow and rain developing.  It looks, as though, the chance of snow or a wintry mix at the start. It may even be the case in South Jersey, for a time, early this afternoon.  Then, it will spread across the rest of the state later this afternoon and early this evening.

I would think the rain/snow line by 8 p.m. this evening will be just north of the Route 1 corridor up towards Route 78.  The Northwestern counties have a chance of getting at least a few inches of snow with this before it goes to a mix and then rain overnight.  It will be raining hard overnight across New Jersey and getting milder.

Any leftover rain Tuesday morning will give way to partial clearing and drier weather in the 50s in the afternoon.

It looks, as though, other than the risk of a brief light shower Wednesday, it should be partly cloudy with temperatures in the 40s to near 50.
