Whitney Houston’s NJ Mansion on the Market for $1.75 Million

MENDHAM -- Whitney Houston's NJ mansion is on the market for $1.75 million according to an exclusive listing on Carproperty.com that boasts, "soaring ceilings, abundant natural light, and circular-themed interior spaces" in the ad.

The 12,561 square-foot home on 22 N Gate Road sits on a 5-acre lot in the Oak Knoll neighborhood.

"It's a very lovely neighborhood," says Sandra Laughlin, Broker and Branch Vice President of Coldwell Banker's Residential Brokerage. The Basking Ridge branch of Coldwell Banker had previously listed the home for sale, but Laughlin says, "It's been vacant for a long time."

When asked if the value of Whitney Houston's NJ mansion was inflated, Laughlin says, "Well there are some that are worth more than that, but they're not on the market." She mentioned that their office has a ranch listed across the street for $939,000, also on 5 acres.

Listing Broker Robert Cross responded via email to Townsquare Media that he is unable to give anymore interviews at this time to anyone except qualified buyers and that, “We are in (mourning) for Whitney like many people, fans, and associates.”

Cross tells Pix 11 News interest in the house has doubled since Whitney Houston's death.
