Keith Hahn, an Edison police officer, posed with The Donald while on security duty at the tournament, NJ.com reported. Hahn, the head of the local Democratic Committee, a political powerbroker in the municipality and a cop, defending the picture, telling  NJ.com that he's "a cop first, Democratic Chairman second and will always conduct myself with dignity and respect."

Hanh said he and Trump never discussed political parties, nor did he tell the real estate mogul that he was the Democratic party's chairman.

Trump made an appearance at the Barclays with very little notice, causing local law enforcement to provide additional security for the Republican presidential candidate, according to the NJ.com article. Six Edison police officers, including Hahn, were given the responsibility of tailing the candidate around the country club due to the large crowds and the stir his appearance caused.
