Two shore restaurants hit by fire
Two Shore restaurants were struck by fires over the weekend.
A two-alarm fire struck the Happy Days Cafe in Ocean City on Saturday morning that heavily damaged the kitchen and building, according to NBC 40.
"Early estimates may be upwards of $100,000 in damage. It's not a total loss, so I don't know exactly how long it will take for them to get back in business," Fire Chief Chris Breunig told the television station, which reports the restaurant was unoccupied at the time of the blaze.
A fire broke out on Sunday morning in the basement of Vic's Restaurant on Main Street in Bradley Beach in a laundry room according to Shore Area News Dispatch.
