Trenton Woman’s Body Found in Tabernacle

State Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found along Route 206 on Monday.

A surveying crew discovered the body of 47-year-old Lisa Armstrong of Trenton on Monday in a wooded area a few yards from the roadway. Police say Armstrong was likely shot and killed at that same location within a day of the discovery of her body.

It's the sixth murder in Burlington County this year according to the Burlington County Times.

Police say they have spoken to a number of people in connection with the discovery and their investigation continues.
