Following some morning delays in and out of New York City, commuter trains are back running on or close to schedule.

This is an update to the below original story of what commuters faced during their Monday morning commute:

Due to single track operation all lines into/out of New York Penn Station are experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes.

Midtown Direct line into/out of New York Penn Station is being diverted to Hoboken. There are delays of up to 15 minutes into/out of Hoboken Terminal due to congestion.

PATH Trains are cross honoring NJ Transit Rail Tickets at Hoboken, New York Penn Station, Newark Penn Station, and 33rd Street.

NJ Transit Rail passes are also being cross honored on NJ Transit Buses and private carrier buses
