Thieves break into 6 stores in same Hamilton shopping plaza

HAMILTON — A pair of thieves hit seven stores and a gas station along a Mercer County highway on Wednesday, stealing nearly $2,000 in cash.

Police said the two men stole cash from four stores — Saladworks, Mr. China, Fantastic Sam's and the UPS Store — in the Acme shopping center in Hamilton Square, according to NJ.com. They also broke into the nearby Exxon station and Donuts Time Cafe.

They tried and failed to pry open the door of Domino's Pizza and Mercer Cleaners.

Hamilton police asked anyone with information about the burglaries to call Hamilton Police at 609-689-5825.

Police not returned a request for comment Friday morning from New Jersey 101.5.
