Believe it or not, there were no records that fell yesterday, but we came very very close.

Atlantic City's 96 fell 1 short of the record set in 1988 of 97.  Newark Liberty Airport was 99, which was 1 short of the 100 set in 1953.  The Trenton-Mercer County Airport reached 95, 2 short of the 97 set in 1923.

Today, there will be no records.  We'll have some sunshine for a time.  There also are some clouds coming in from showers in the West.

Watch for gusty thunderstorms arriving sometime this afternoon and this evening.  Highs briefly in the low to mid 90s, but I think more like low 90s, to tell you the truth.  Some 80s likely at the beach.

And showers and a leftover thunderstorm moving through much of tonight with statewide lows in the mid 60s to mid 70s.

Any early showers ending at the coast and then some sunshine, very warm, and less humid weather tomorrow with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.

Sunshine for most of Sunday, maybe some late clouds, with highs in the low to middle 80s, but cooler near the ocean.

Much cooler next week with some showers around, possibly Monday and Tuesday.
