RAHWAY — Authorities say a two-vehicle crash involving a stolen car has left two children seriously injured and several adults hurt.

The crash occurred around 3:25 p.m. Friday in Rahway.

Authorities say a car that had been reported stolen in Bridgewater struck another vehicle with seven occupants inside, including the two injured children.

One child was ejected during the crash and remained hospitalized Saturday in critical but stable condition, while the other was in stable condition. Their names and further details on their injuries have not been disclosed.

The adults injured in the crash were all treated for minor injuries and released.

A 17-year-old boy who authorities say was driving the stolen car has been charged with aggravated assault, leaving the scene of an accident that caused injury and receiving stolen property.
