TCNJ Fire Prompts Evacuation

A fire on the roof of a walkway prompted the evacuation of hundreds of students on the campus of the College of New Jersey early Saturday morning.

CBS Philadelphia reports the fire broke out just after 1 a.m. on the roof of the walkway between Travers Hall and Wolfe Hall. 550 students were evacuated from their dorms and into a recreation hall.

No injuries were reported; the cause of the fire is under investigation.
