Big waves from Hurricane Lee will bring rough surf and strong rip currents to Seaside Heights creating dangerous conditions for swimmers and lifeguards.
Even from 1,000 miles away there is already a high risk of rip currents with wave heights of 7 feet up-and-down the Jersey Shore as Lee makes its way north parallel to the east coast.
Two people drowned at the shore and a third presumed dead in the water churned up by several post-tropical lows including former hurricanes Franklin and Idalia.
Tropical Storm Idalia is at its closest point to New Jersey on Thursday located 300 miles south of Cape May, according to New Jersey 101.5 Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow.
Hurricane Franklin, a Category 4 storm with sustained winds of 140 mph winds is about 500 miles southeast of New Jersey as of Tuesday morning, the closest it will come to New Jersey.
I love the friendliness of the staff, the freshness of the food and the world class margaritas. Man are they good! I can’t recall another Mexican restaurant with more flavor choices for margaritas.
