May 14th, 1998 - It's a sad day as news starts coming out that singer and actor Frank Sinatra has died at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He suffered a heart attack and passed away at the age 82.
Bobby's biggest "Jersey" hit has to be "Wildwood Days" which is the quintessential shore song. It depicts a time when the Jersey Shore wasn't about Snooki and fist pumps.

Saturday marks the 100th anniversary of Frank Sinatra's birth, born Dec. 12, 1915 in Hoboken. But that's not the only city that will be celebrating the Jersey boy. Several celebrations are planned in the Garden State and throughout the country.
There are a lot of fact about Frank Sinatra that are pretty well known, such as the fact that Dec. 12 would have been the New Jersey native's 100th birthday, or that his native city is Hoboken.
