High temperatures Thursday did no better than 63 at Newark Liberty International Airport, and mostly 60 or 61.  There was not much rain in Central or Northern Jersey, but that wasn't the case in South Jersey.  In Atlantic City, three quarters of an inch fell, and there could have been some locally higher amounts in parts of Southern New Jersey...

The weekend worked out reasonably well.  We may have had a passing light shower or sprinkle at some point on Sunday.  Overall it reached the low to mid 80's, as high as 86 in Atlantic City.  It was a bit above my predicted highs in the low 80's.

The holiday weekend forecast worked out pretty much as I expected, with Labor Day the worst of the three,  although there were some showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. High temperatures yesterday reached the upper 70's. High temperatures Thursday reached 79 at Newark Liberty International Airport and 77 elsewhere. Today will be near 80 or so with patchy clouds and sunshine, but more low humidity will continue.  It will be cooler then 80 at the beaches with a sea breeze...
Rain Coming: Alan’s Weather Blog
High temperatures Monday reached the upper 70's to around 80.  Newark's 80 was the highest number.  The normal high temperature is 85.  We'll be again in the 70's near the ocean and near 80 or so elsewhere. Clouds and some sunshine today...
