Suspended NJ Transit Service to Resume Tuesday
NJ Transit says service will soon be restored on two rail lines affected by Saturday’s snowstorm.
The agency says the Morris and Essex line — including the Gladstone Branch and the Montclair-Boonton line — will run as scheduled on Tuesday morning.
But commuters are advised to expect delays of up to 10 minutes during peak travel times and up to 20 minutes during off-peak times as crews continue to work.
Both lines were suspended on Saturday after extensive damage caused by heavy, wet snow and strong winds that toppled trees and limbs.
