Suspect in Stabbing Deaths Arrested in Irvington
Authorities in suburban Philadelphia say a man being sought in the stabbing deaths of a man and woman last month was arrested last week in New Jersey.
Montgomery County police and prosecutors earlier issued an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Luckenson Desrivieres in the deaths of 23-year-old Marc Estiverne and 26-year-old Shamara Hill. Their bodies were found June 17 in a Norristown building where both the male victim and the suspect rented rooms.
Authorities said Monday that Desrivieres was found Wednesday hiding beneath a cardboard box in the basement of an Irvington, N.J. home.
He was arraigned Saturday in Pennsylvania and taken to Montgomery County prison without bail pending a Friday preliminary hearing. A listed number for Desrivieres could not be found and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.
