High temperatures yesterday reached the middle 80s, as warm as 86 at Newark Liberty Airport.

Today, we will have the risk of a passing shower or possibly a thunderstorm with clouds, sunshine, and highs in the mid to upper 80s.  It'll be a bit cooler at the beach.  The ocean water is still warm in the lower 70s.

After the chance of a shower or, perhaps, a possible thunderstorm this evening, partial clearing overnight and humid with lows from 67 to 74.

Partly sunny and humid again Wednesday with just the chance of a shower tomorrow.  I think it will be very sparse and widely scattered, if at all.  Highs Wednesday in the 80s, cooler near the ocean.

Sunshine and continued humid Thursday in the 80s, but cooler at the beaches and probably rain-free.

It will probably be rain-free on Friday into Saturday.  There's just the chance of a shower later Sunday, and maybe a bit of a better chance of a shower or thunderstorm on later Labor Day.

Overall, though, most of the holiday weekend still looks okay.
