Steven Tyler not playing West Windsor market

Despite the rumors, West Windsor Police say Steven Tyler is not performing in West Windsor this weekend.

"Several Websites have purported that Steven Tyler will be performing at Windsor Farms 5/30/2015," reads an alert issued on Wednesday morning. "This is completely false and we are posting an advisory so thousands of disappointed fans do not make their way into the area. This is not true."

The Aerosmith lead singer, last seen performing a duet with East Brunswick's Jax on the finale of American Idol, was listed on several websites as performing at the West Windsor Farmers Market at 10 a.m.

"We'd love to have him, I think that'd be cool,'' owner Wayne Kalinowski, told NJ.com. "But we're selling strawberries on Saturday.'' He also noted that he couldn't afford to have Tyler perform. Kalinowski says he was tipped to the problem when a woman from Hightstown wanted to know more about the venue.
