A wintry mix of precipitation is headed our way for late Sunday night and Monday that will likely  leave several inches of snow across most of New Jersey.
The forecast has firmed up as a Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Ocean, Burlington, Gloucester, Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties for 3-5 inches of snow to begin falling early Monday morning as a mix of rain and snow, change to all snow after dawn and then back to all snow in the afternoon before ending in the evening.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the rest of the state where the precipitation will remain as more of a mix and accumulate 2-4 inches.

The snow will accumulate mostly on grassy and untreated surfaces.

Thanks to the upcoming Full Moon a Coastal Flood Advisory has been issued for the entire coastline for Monday night's high tide which will occur between 7pm and 8pm with some coastal roads likely to encounter minor flooding.

Meanwhile, parts of Colorado and northwest Kansas saw 10 to 15 inches of snow Saturday, and southwestern Nebraska had up to 7 inches.

As the system moves east Sunday. A winter storm warning has been issued for much of central Missouri, Illinois and Indiana. Five to 10 inches of snow is forecast along a line from Kansas City to St. Louis. Central Illinois and Indiana could see up to 10 inches overnight and into Monday morning.
