One season later, at the ripe old age of 20, Trout feels he's much more prepared to do his thing.

Trout has been on a tear since Los Angeles promoted him five weeks ago, batting .303 with five homers and 16 RBIs in 30 games. He has established himself as a speedy leadoff hitter and a phenomenal left fielder who catches just about anything hit his way.

The son of a former minor leaguer from southern New Jersey appears ready for a permanent role with the Angels.
