‘Lockout’ lifted at South Jersey school
Several schools in the Black Horse Pike Regional School District in South Jersey were under "lockout" Wednesday, following a possible home invasion nearby.
Gloucester Township Police say a York Terrace resident who reported that three men broke into his home and assaulted him. He met police and said they were still inside.
Two of the suspects were arrested while the third ran off prompting a "lockout" at several area schools as a precaution for about an hour while police looked for the man.
Classes were being held as scheduled during what police called a "lockout" at the Timber Creek High School, Mullen Middle School, Erial Elementary School and Union Valley School , according to NBC10 but no one was allowed in-or-out of the buildings.
Two people found inside the home were taken into custody, and authorities were searching for a third person. No weapons or drugs were found in the home,
