HAMILTON (Mercer) — An 18-year-old man remains missing amidst growing concern for his wellbeing.

Nicholas "Nick" Pratico, a graduate of Notre Dame High School this past spring, was visiting the West Windsor campus of Mercer County Community College on Wednesday afternoon because he was considering taking classes, Hamilton Police Sgt. Brian Schroeder said.

Pratico may be headed to Times Square or the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts at 39 W 19th Street. He was also considering the Conservatory for school, according to Schroeder.

He has a cell phone but no activity has been detected so far on his social media.

The Facebook page Find Nick Pratico said there was a search scheduled for Friday but did not give a time or location.

Pratico was dropped off by family and was last seen on campus around 3 p.m. the last time he was last spotted on campus surveillance cameras.

A poster seeking his return said he stands 6 feet tall and weights approximately 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and a blue backpack.

A young man named Ron who runs the PiersonProductions YouTube channel made a video plea for his return.

"I don't knew where he could have gone. I don't know if he was kidnapped, I don't know what happened. Maybe he's gone to New York, maybe he's gone to Philly," Ron says.

"The guy's great. I've known him since freshman year. I used to hate him. He grew onto me and he's been my best friend since. He's careless in a good way and he just cares for people."

Police asked anyone with information about either man should call 609-581-4000.
