The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office needs your help in solving this cold case – which can net you $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of any suspect in the murder of Jonelle Melton.

Jonelle was a teacher in the Red Bank Middle School, and was murdered on Sept. 14th 2009, and was discovered by a family member when she didn’t show up for school.

She had been teaching 7th graders Social Studies in Red Bank for 7 years.

Outside of school, she enjoyed spending much time with family and friends.

At the time of her death, Jonelle was living at the apartment complex known at Brighton Arms in Neptune City.

Crime Stoppers desperately needs your help in this investigation. While cases such as these usually merit a $5,000 reward, the New Jersey Education Association is putting up another $5,000 to solve this case.
