Romney Comes To Ocean County

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be in Lakewood this week for a fundraiser.

Romney is expected to attend a $1000 a head fundraiser at the Lake Terrace Hall on Wednesday afternoon according to the Star Ledger.  It's hosted by attorney Larry Bathgate and Ocean County GOP Chairman George Gilmore.

Nearly 700 people are expected to attend including former Gov. Tom Kean, his son Senate Minority Leader Tom Kean Jr. (R-Union), Sen. Jim Holzapfel (R-Ocean) and Atlantic County GOP Chairman Keith Davis.

Governor Chris Christie will not attend; he'll be in California at a fundraiser for the likely Republican candidate for President.
