The band, on its website, cited "personal issues." The band says all shows will go on as scheduled. No other information was given.

TMZ is reporting that Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi are feuding over money and a years-long fight bubbled over prior.

During the band's show in Calgary on Tuesday, Jon Bon Jovi announced that Richie Sambora won't be performing for a "while". "If there's ever a night I need you, it's tonight, Calgary!" according to the Daily Mail, which reports the show started 45 minutes late.

The band also made a donation to to the Calgary Homeless Foundation, according to the Metro of Calgary,  to make up for the missing Sambora.

Hours before the announcement late Tuesday, Sambora tweeted that he was "Watching more of the 'Every Road Leads Home To You' cover videos." That was a reference to a fan contest promoting a song on his solo album, "Aftermath of the Lowdown."

The 53-year-old has struggled with substance abuse and has done several stints in rehab.

Bon Jovi  performs in Edmonton, Canada, on Wednesday;  the current leg of the tour is scheduled to end April 25 in San Jose, Calif before heading to South Africa and Europe starting May 7.
