Republican candidates look to take next step at debate tonight

The fourth Republican debate will be held tonight in Milwaukee.

The two-hour event will be hosted by FOX Business Network at 9 p.m.

This will be the first forum since a CNBC debate in October left candidates complaining about the questions asked by moderators.

Polls continue to show Ben Carson and Donald Trump at the top of the crowded GOP field.

Gov. Chris Christie will not be on the main stage tonight as his national poll numbers kept him out.

He will debate with other low polling candidates at 7 p.m.
