Somehow I think it’s completely not worth it going to a stadium to watch a game between two fiercely competitive teams.

Especially if the fans of those teams are going to be acting out while sharing space either inside or outside the stadium where the game is being played.

In some cases, fans of the same team even seem to get into it with each other.

Witness the brawl that had taken place recently in San Francisco between a couple of football fans fighting in a men’s room – reportedly over who was going to get to use a stall.

The brawl left one man partially paralyzed.

After watching videos like this, and the reports of some other stories of rowdy fans acting out (like the recent Jets/Patriots fan brawl – or the infamous brawl between Flyers and Rangers fans outside of Geno’s in South Philly) – do you even bother going to see a game up close?

Especially given the high price of tickets, having to battle the elements; and in some cases having to battle other fans.

Not for nuthin’ – and call me a wuss if you need to – but there’s nothing better than watching the game on your 61 inch flat screen TV with surround sound and eating whenever and whatever you like – without the exorbitant high prices to boot!

The teams – no matter what the sport – will always make their money. Either by putting asses (literally and figuratively) in the seats – or by the TV money they reap.

But does rowdy fan behavior keep you away from watching a game up close?

Have you ever been involved in a brawl with another fan?
