“Kitchen Nightmares isn’t just a TV show. It’s real if you work in the food services industry.
You never know what goes on in the kitchen of a restaurant – and in some cases, you don’t want to know.

Recently a security camera caught the night manager of a Pizza Hut relieving himself into the sink in the kitchen area.

It didn’t take very long for the area manager to fire the guy.

There was also a time when one employee at another fast food joint decided to take a bath in the sink in his place of employment – and for good measure, share it with the world on social media.

Can you say “douche?”

Well, now we have the story – and probably not too uncommon a story – of someone who didn’t like his order at a Budd Lake restaurant; and found out later on that someone had spit into it.

According to this story, officers responded to the restaurant on Sunday after an employee contacted cops to report multiple health violations including an incident where the chef spat into a patron’s food.

The chef was subsequently charged with tampering; and the patron notified.

You can bet that would be the last time I’d eat at that place.

But do you generally get nervous sending food back into the kitchen if it’s not what you ordered?
