Monroe police are continuing to search for the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Thursday morning.
On Thursday, around 8:47 a.m., the Monroe Township Police Department responded to an alleged robbery at the TD Bank located at 162 Prospect Plains Road, according to an emailed press release from the Monroe Township Police Department.
The release described the male subject as “5’6” tall with a thin build and olive skin wearing a dark colored baseball cap baring the New York Jets logo, an orange T-shirt with the Carhart logo on the left breast pocket over top of a long sleeve dark shirt and dark sweat pants with white stripes along the legs.”
He entered the bank, then handed the teller a note and demanded money – which the teller complied with – but the amount the subject received is still undetermined. The suspect did not appear to be armed.
