A commission that was called by the governor is out with a new report saying that pensions are set to put a $90 billion drain on our future budgets.

The report calls for further reforms, but did not recommend specific action. Those ideas will be in the commission's final report next month.

But, Democrats are not buying this.

Senate President Steve Sweeney, who is expected to run for governor if and when Christie leaves office, is using this issue to raise his profile and solidify his base.
