The South Jersey Times reports that Pennsville officials found out Wednesday afternoon that an employee contracted the infection. Township officials closed the municipal building as a precaution.

Mayor Richard Barnhart told the newspaper that a cleaning crew has taken tests to see if there is a possibility of it spreading. The building is expected to reopen on Monday.

The township's police department is also housed in the building. Officers were forced to work out of their cars and a detective's office Wednesday night when it was shuttered, but that portion of the building has since reopened.
