The weekend forecast worked out pretty well with a mix of clouds and some sunshine.

It was colder Sunday than Saturday.  High temperatures Sunday only reached the upper 30s to just a shade over 40.  The highest was Newark Liberty Airport's 41 on Sunday.

Today's temperatures will be in the low to middle 40s, at best, with a gusty wind.  We'll have clouds and some sunshine once again for today.

A major storm is in the works for New Jersey, beginning Wednesday and lasting into Thursday.  We don't know how much cold air we are going to have.  We may not have enough for anything more than rain and a wintry mix.  Although, depending on the exact strength of the storm and its exact path, there could be a rain changing to heavy, wet snow in parts of the state for Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

It may be more rain than white as it stands now. We'll have strong winds along the coast, gusting in excess of 50 miles per hour. That also means, at least, moderate flooding at the times of high tide in the days ahead.  Stay tuned.
