The northbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike are open again to drivers, following a lengthy closure due to an overturned truck.

The lanes were closed for hours because of an accident involving two tractor trailers, a box truck and a pickup truck at #7A (I-195).

State police tell WPVI TV there were a total of 4 injuries. The driver of the box truck was seriously injured. His passenger, who is also his son, had some leg and head lacerations.

Both drivers of the tractor trailers complained of pain. The pick up truck driver was not injured.

Delays developed on alternate roads like Route 206 and 130, as well as 195 and Route 1.

An earlier accident on the southbound Garden State Parkway at Interstate 280 in Bloomfield involved a boat that fell off a trailer on the northbound side and flipped onto the southbound causing large delays for a time.

The incident has since cleared.
