FREEHOLD (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a man who works as an assistant at a Monmouth County nursery school received images of child sex abuse online.

James Paroline made his initial court appearance Tuesday and will likely remain in custody until his bail hearing is held Thursday. It's not known if he's retained an attorney.

The 26-year-old Red Bank man, who also serves as a summer camp counselor at a private school, faces two counts of receiving child porn.

Prosecutors say that on two days in March, Paroline downloaded the videos and images from a bulletin board and website dedicated to advertising and distributing child porn.

After tracing the items back to Paroline's residence, authorities executed a search warrant and allegedly found numerous child porn images and videos on computer equipment he owned.
