The duo of New Jersey dads who became Internet-famous in a video of their nasty, bloody brawl outside a Maryland civic center will both avoid jail time, Delmarvanow.com reports.

Both Michael Barbella, 48, of Ventnor City and Michael John Duffy, 45, of Mays Landing, were sentenced to probation and a $100 fine, according to the report.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, on July 15 a deputy came to a local civic center in response to a find Michael Barbella in front of a local civic center, being attended to by EMS personnel. The two men had gotten into an argument "that turned into a heated mutual physical altercation between the pair," the sheriff's office said.

Video of the all-out brawl was posted on Deadspin's YouTube channel, among others. It's graphic and includes coarse language.

Barbella had travelled to Wicomico County to confront Duffy and other parents from a travel softball team because of prior bad blood, it said. The deputy was shown text messages in which Barbella challenged Duffy to a fight,

Duffy entered an Alford plea to disorderly conduct, which doesn't require an admission of guilt, according to the Delmarvanow report. Barbella pleaded guilty.
