Authorities say a Bridgeton man was arrested after he intentionally crashed into another vehicle with his children in the car, NJ Advance Media reported.

According to the story, 31-year-old Luis A. Molina-Munoz, was driving Honda Civic Sunday afternoon when he allegedly struck another car on purpose in the area of Gershal Avenue in Pittsgrove. Authorities told NJ Advance Media that police responded to the scene at 2:13 p.m. after receiving reports of a motor vehicle collision between a Honda and a Camaro.

At the time of the crash, Molina-Munoz had a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old child in the car with him. Neither had been properly secured in their seats, police told the website. Authorities did not say why the man purposefully hot the other vehicle.

He was arrested and charged with assault by auto, terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of children and harassment. He is being held in Cumberland County Jail on $200,000 bail.
