A Continental Airlines regional flight from Providence, R.I., to Newark, N.J., has been diverted to Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks.

Bradley's airport operations said Wednesday afternoon that a smoke indicator light went off in a baggage compartment, though it was not known if there was smoke or the light was faulty.

The plane landed without incident. Thirty-two passengers and three crew members are expected to re-board following an inspection.

Continental did not immediately return a call seeking information.
