New Jersey gas prices still falling according to AAA Mid-Atlantic
TRENTON (AP) -- Motorists continue to see lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the state on Friday was $2.32, down 5 cents from last week. That's also much lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.27.
This marks the ninth straight week that pump prices have fallen in New Jersey.
The national average price on Friday was $2.63, down 2 cents from last week. That's also much lower than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.44.
Analysts say pump prices will likely continue to drop in New Jersey in the coming weeks, noting that crude oil prices continue to fall.
