More gorgeous photos from NJ folks who chose #optoutside over the malls

Here's to the folks who let a little sunshine in on their Thanksgiving weekend.

A few days ago, we showed you just a handful of images from people who decided to hit the outdoors instead of the malls on Black Friday in New Jersey.

And in response, you showed us — they're far from alone. These photos, sent in by members of the New Jersey 101.5 audience, show just how breathtaking New Jersey can be. And with temperatures in the 60s this holiday weekend, it was a great time to go out and experience it.

Many have been sharing their outdoor exploits with the world using the hashtag #optoutside, promoted by outdoor-gear retailer REI, which closed its doors for Black Friday and paid 12,000 employees to take the day off.
