Addressing the New Jersey Business and Industry Association’s Public Policy Forum in Woodbridge today, the Governor said 16 million dollars in grant money has been put aside to assist with clean-up efforts, and millions more are available to help companies get up and running again.

The Governor said the Office of Recovery and Rebuilding will help businesses make sure they get all of the federal aid they’re entitled to, “and then once that aid is received, to be able to make sure that we use that money in the most creative, efficient and effective way to speed New Jersey’s recovery.”

Christie also told those assembled there are programs and services already in place to help businesses, “and we need your help to get the word out to everyone in the business community that these programs are there …getting these small businesses back and operating – especially up and down the Jersey Shore – is priority number one for this Administration.”
