Janet Wilson of Manchester pleaded guilty Thursday to second degree manslaughter charges in the death of her 32-year-old daughter, Rebecca Wilson, who authorities say was homebound and dependent on her mother for care.

Ocean County prosecutors say the 54-year-old Wilson has been in custody since she was arrested in a Reno, Nevada hotel room last June and brought back to New Jersey to face charges.

Authorities say Wilson did not report her daughter's death to federal officials and was still getting her daughter's disability checks when police responded last May to reports of a strange odor at their residence and discovered Rebecca Wilson's body.
