Mercer County Prosecutor Joseph Bocchini tells The Times of Trenton that he has asked Gov. Chris Christie not to reappoint him to a third term in the position.

He has already served 11 years over two terms in the job. No one else has served more than one term in the position. Bocchini turned 70 in June.

No one has been appointed to replace him yet, so it is not clear when he will stop serving.
