Margate Employs Beach Tag Bouncers [POLL]

That’s what we have in Margate where they have hired 2 division I-AA football players at $10 an hour each to be “beach badge bouncers” to back up the beach tag checkers.

The two work from 9:30am  to 3:30 pm most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with one also working Tuesdays.They take the heat off the checkers who are often called names, yelled at and sometimes driven to tears.

Can the beaches afford this? Revenue so far in Margate is up over $19,000 from last year.
