CBS News reports that Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his younger brother Dzhokhar while in their carjacking victim’s car in Watertown on Thursday night spoke to each other in Russian.

The driver told investigators “‘the only word I recognized was Manhattan” which prompted a shutdown of Amtrak between Boston and New York and searches of trains. The NYPD also began reading license plates at the toll bridges as a precaution at the bridges and tunnels.

Private Funeral For Martin Richard

The family of 8-year-old Martin Richard released a statement today that they have laid the youngest Marathon victim to rest in a private ceremony. A private Funeral Mass was celebrated this morning with immediate family.

“We laid our son Martin to rest, and he is now at peace. We plan to have a public memorial service in the coming weeks to allow friends and loved ones from our community to join us for a celebration of Martin’s life,” read the statement according to WCVB.

Martin was killed as he stood along Boylston Street after hugging his dad Bill after he  completed the race. Martin’s mother Denise suffered leg and brain injuries in the explosion while his younger sister’s leg were severely injured.

More charges are ahead for Dzokhar Tsarnaev.

State prosecutors expect to charge Dzokhar Tsarnaev. separately in the killing of  MIT police officer Sean Collier who was shot in his cruiser Thursday night on the school’s campus in Cambridge.

Federal prosecutors could also add new charges when he’s indicted in the bombing.

Still unable to speak because of wounds, Tsarnaev answered questions in writing yesterday.

U.S. officials say Tsarnaev and his brother appear to have been motivated by their religious views, not any connection to any Muslim terrorist groups.
