A southern New Jersey man has been convicted of carrying out a string of violent home invasions in 2011.

Twenty-nine-year-old Keith Cuff Jr. was found guilty last week of charges including robbery and kidnapping.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says Cuff and 41-year-old Jerome Thomas carried out a spree of crimes starting in Cherry Hill in February 2011. Prosecutors say the men broke into a house and used zip ties to restrain two teenage girls and their parents.

Prosecutors say days later the pair confronted a man at his Winslow home, hit him in the head with a gun and robbed him. Authorities say they also took part in another armed robbery a month later.

Thomas is serving a 15-year prison term.

Cuff will be sentenced on Jan. 28.
