A deadly shooting at a Randolph shooting range is considered to be a suicide, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

Police were called to the RTSP Shooting Range, a 35,000 square foot facility on Route 10 on Saturday nightm for the report of a shooting and discovered a 21-year-old man who had shot himself in the head inside the range. The man, who has not been identified, died from his injuries after being taken to a hospital.

No one else was involved with the shooting and there is no danger to the community according to a statement from the prosecutor's office, and no criminal charges are expected.

A message on the range's Facebook page said it will be closed on Sunday out of respect to the family of the man who took his own life.

"We understand that there are a lot of questions and that folks want information, but for various and obvious reasons we are not able to make any statements or release any information at this time," the range's management wrote in a follow-up comment. "Hang tight, folks. And we really appreciate your support — you are as much a part of our family as we are yours."
