Man killed himself when FBI knocked on his door, report says

A Robbinsville man killed himself when the FBI came to his home early Friday morning.

The Times of Trenton reports several representatives of the agency came to the door of the man's Banbury Court home around 7 a.m. Robbinsville Police were called to the scene after shots were heard from inside the home.

The FBI would not elaborate for the newspaper on why it was at the home of the man, except to say it was for "official business." Authorities have also not disclosed the man's identity.

Messages left for Robbinsville Police and the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office by New Jersey 101.5 have not yet been returned.
