The developers of the proposed "American Dream Meadowlands" are in state Superior Court in Hackensack Monday to ask a judge to throw out the lawsuit filed in June by the New York Jets and New York Giants.

The teams claim the project in their backyard would create epic traffic problems and interfere with game days.

They also say the facility violates a prior agreement they had to approve any expansion plans at the East Rutherford site, which is near MetLife stadium where the teams play.

The mall was supposed to open in 2007 but has been plagued by financial problems.
