According to Robbinsville police, authorities received a 911 call at about 4:43 p.m. reporting the robbery in the area of Line Road. When police arrived at the Line Road cul-de-sac, they spoke with two girls who said they had been robbed at gunpoint while walking in a wooded area just off the cul-de-sac, according to a statement released by authorities. The suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, wearing black sweatpants, black hoodie and a black-and-white bandana over his face.

Authorities say the alleged suspect brandished a small, black handgun before taking the victims' purses and running from the scene. He was last seen heading west on Flock Road into nearby Hamilton, police said.
