Thursday's high temperatures reached the middle 80s, as warm as 86 in Trenton and Wrightstown, 84 at Newark Liberty Airport for a change wasn't the warmest reading.

The story today is some showers and a thunderstorm around with high humidity.  Some of these showers can contain heavy downpours.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, though somewhat cooler today at the beach.

Any shower or thunderstorm activity this evening should taper off overnight, but still humid with statewide lows from 64 to 74.

Partly sunny, warm, but less humid tomorrow with highs approaching 90, but cooler near the water.

A mix of sun and clouds Sunday, highs in the mid 80s, but definitely cooler at the beach.  The ocean water temperatures in parts of Ocean County may have fallen into the 60s with a strong south wind yesterday afternoon.

But, it's in the mid 70s along the south coast near the Steel Pier.

We may have another threat of shower and thunderstorm activity, at some point, during the early part of next week.

Enjoy your weekend.
