Funerals Set For Budd Lake Drowning Victim

Funeral arrangements have been announced for the two teenage boys who fell through the ice at Budd Lake and drowned.

An obituary for Nicholas Michael Cianciotto III published in the Star Ledger says he will be laid to rest at a funeral Mass at t. Jude R.C. Parish on Saturday.He is described as “a true outdoorsman  and loved dirt-biking, snowboarding, and fishing” and spending time with  family and spending time with friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Nicholas Cianciotto Fund, c/o PNC Bank, 3 Naughright Rd., Hackettstown, N.J. 07840.

Arrangements have not yet been Clyde Schimanski III.

The bodies of both were pulled from Budd Lake on Tuesday and Wednesday after they fell through the ice on Monday night.
